Medical Careers

Saturday, March 15th, 2008

The healthcare industry is one of the largest industries in the US. It is projected that medical careers will comprise 9 out of the 20 occupations that will be in demand within the next 10 years. As such there is an increase in the requirement for providing medical career trainings.

Logging on to Yahoo! Hot Jobs and searching for “medical” easily yields about 22,000+ jobs. Do take note that this doesn’t include results for medical doctors, nurses, aides, etc.

You don’t really have to study and practice medicine just to be able to have a medical career. Of course there is the usual medical doctors, nurses, dentists, physical and occupational therapists but medical transcriptionists, insurance coders, dental office admins, massage therapists are also considered medical careers.

You might say that working in the healthcare industry is difficult. I say that having the right training, education and experience would make it a lot easier. It would be best that you attend medical career training if you want to take advantage of the increasing demand for healthcare professionals.

Focused Improvement: 7 QC Tools and 7 New Tools

Tuesday, March 4th, 2008

RMP Consultancy

RMP Consultancy brings you Focused Improvement: 7 QC Tools and 7 New Tools, a 2 day training program which will give you the skills to use the different tools to analyze production problems, plot out the root causes of these problems and derive the needed actions to effect improvement.

The training is conducted in the environment of Lean Manufacturing and stresses the principles of continuous improvement to achieve competitive advantage.

The tools presented in this 2 day workshop will allow you to build quality into every phase of your production system or service delivery.

Many successful companies already use the 7 QC Tools and the 7 New Tools developed by Kaoru Ishikawa, a renowned quality expert from Japan. The 7 QC tools allow you to measure existing quality problems while the seven new QC tools make it possible for you to plan wide-ranging and detailed Total Quality Control objectives throughout the entire organization.

This program goes one step further higher and teaches the participants how to present the results to their customers and upper management.

In the midst of fast paced trends and virtual operations, companies need to have simple and effective analytical tools at hand as well as the skilled and trained staff to use these tools. Organizations now have a pressing need to be more productive. One of the organization’s main purposes is to identify and solve problems and to do that effectively, teams need to apply a systematic approach to problem-solving.

This training program aims to give the participant the skills to use the different tools to analyze production problems, plot out the root causes of these problems and derive the needed actions to effect improvement.

The training is conducted in the environment of Lean Manufacturing and stresses the principles of continuous improvement to achieve competitive advantage. These ‘Focused Improvement’ disciplines and structure will drive your team/s towards desired levels of excellence. The participant will learn how to use various QC tools, how they are used to communicate, review and monitor, and utilizing inter-creative ways of ‘ideation’ to shape up an implementation plan.

The use of quality tools and methods will enhance the problem-solving proficiency of the team and take full advantage of its varied capabilities. The use of these tools and methods does not end here.
