Corporate Communications 2.0: Corporate Blogging

Regnard Raquedan of Standard Web Standards is organizing a charity event for one of his classes in the Asian Institute of Management (AIM).

The event is called “Corporate Communications 2.0: Corporate Blogging” and it is a seminar/workshop about corporate blogging. The seminar will be held in March 7, 2008 at the AIM Campus in Makati City.

Corporate Communications 2.0: Corporate Blogging

Corporate Communications 2.0 is intended primarily for:

  1. Business executives who recognize the promise of blogs for viral marketing, crisis communications and corporate culture development
  2. Managers who want to tap blogging as a collaboration platform
  3. Professionals who are interested to learn how blogging can be an effective means of communication in the corporate setting

Warehouse and Logistics Essentials (A LEAN Approach)

This course is for individuals in warehouse and logistics operations who need to learn about how to implement LEAN in the warehouse and logistics functions and how to get started with creating an environment for a successful implementation of LEAN. You will learn how to create the right conditions for implementing lean principles thru analyzing current performance, capacity and workforce allocation. You’ll also learn how to apply the LEAN principles of value stream analysis, Six Sigma quality, process improvement, structured thinking, making 5S stick thru checklists, visual controls, and Kaizen.

This seminar aims to give the warehouse and logistics manager, supervisor and staff the tools to effectively optimize their warehouse and logistics operations. It aims to create an understanding of the overall warehouse and logistics system and helps the participants develop a lean warehouse and logistics strategy. Ultimately, the lean goals of eliminating waste, decreasing work-in-process inventories, and, in turn, decreasing process and manufacturing lead-times leads to increases in supply chain capability and flow which in turn means better customer service, lower costs and better profits.
